KITZPANORAMA - THE VIEWING PLATFORM. 'Profound' views of the Gamsstadt, in every respect, are provided by the barrier-free viewing platform in Hochkitzbühel - let your gaze be drawn from the breathtaking Wilder Kaiser massif across to the impressive Kitzbüheler Horn, right the way to the glaciers on the Hohen Tauern and experience Kitzbühel - after a journey on the unique Hahnenkammbahn cable car - from a birds'-eye perspective ...
From the tremendous Wilder Kaiser massif, starting with the impressive peak of the Kitzbühel Horn, the Loferer Steinbergen, the 'Südberge' mountain chain, through to the Hohen Tauern's ice giants, you can let your gaze 'wander' for hours on end, unceasingly.
The newly constructed viewing platform lets many altitude hikers pause for a while and enjoy a new glimpse at the 'Gamsstadt' and to 'visibly' enjoy the tranquillity of Hochkitzbühel.
TIP: After "mounds" of impressions, the team at Restaurant Hochkitzbühel round the corner await you and happily serve delicious local foods and refreshing drinks.
Awakened from its slumber as it were, one of the most impressive viewing points in the Hahnenkamm has been revitalised.
With a respectable financial and structural outlay, a platform has been constructed on the eastern section of the mountain station for the Hahnenkammbahn (in the area of the old goods cable lift). It provides unfettered views to the superb mountains all around and also to the town of Kitzbühel.
NO 22: Panorama circular trail – discover a realm of views on the famous Hahnenkamm along this wonderfully designed circular hiking trail. Four viewing installations provide unrestricted views to impressive panoramic outlooks.
Whether starting out from the mountain stations of the Hahnenkammbahn or the Fleckalmbahn, superb panoramic views await you along the contour line. Similarly impressive are the refreshments provided, and also the panorama views, at Ehrenbachhöhesee (where there is a Kneipp pool).
