    Tour tips for mountain bikers

Superb trail adventures on the Gaisberg and on the Fleckalm

Sportberg Gaisberg and the Fleckalm Trail provide the ideal terrain, true to the motto UP on the cable car - DOWN on the bike. The Lisi Osl Trail on the Gaisberg will push all exacting downhillers’ heart rate monitors to the limit, and promises pure mountain bike fun. The longest trail in Tyrol on the Fleckalm delivers what it promises – plenty of action!!!

Those of you who have the endurance, strength and desire to ride all day long can conquer the trails on the Gaisberg and the Fleckalm with the KitzTrail Card. As long as you have enough oxygen!!!

    Mountainbiken in der Region

A ROUND mixture: discover holiday pleasure and adventures on the bike, rural villages and the hospitality of the Tirol people! The Wilder Kaiser – Kalkstein – Kitzbüheler Horn - Hohe Salve region is probably one of the beautiful and most inviting recuperative areas in the Tirol, thanks to its broad, sunny valley.

Over 800 km of cycle touring and mountain biking routes invite you for a bit of sporting engagement from the start of May until the end of October. Every cyclist will find routes to suit their needs. There are even plenty of cycle routes for those cyclists who are not so fit. We have two special tour tips for you. Otherwise please enquire at the local Tourist Offices for suitable cycle map material for this region. All routes and numbers are shown on the mountain bike and cycle map.

Mountain bikes are transported on the following cable cars:

    Hahnenkammbahn, Fleckalmbahn, Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alpen

We are completely rebuilding the Fleckalmbahn cable car - so there is no summer operation. Reopening December 2019. For your safety the Fleckalmtrail will only be opened on SUNDAYS to the end of July. Dangerous areas on the hiking trails will be clearly marked. Thank you for your understanding!
