Ski tour of Wagstätt Wurzhöhe in the Kitzbühel-Kirchberg ski area

Have you ever felt the wonder of skiing on a pristine slope at night? If not, we recommend our ski touring tip. Discover the best and most beautiful things winter has to offer by taking a ski tour through the wonderful countryside. Ski touring – the trend continues. Breathe in deeply and enjoy our glorious winter landscapes.

Start in Jochberg in the Kitzbühel | Kirchberg ski area in the evening and ski safely to Jägerwurz. You can safely do this every Friday!

Ski touring tip No. 60 Wagstätt Wurzhöhe

The Wagstätt Wurz will be open to ski tourers every Friday until 9.30pm during the winter months! Have fun tackling one of the most popular runs – die Wagstätt/Wurz – in the evening as well. Ski tourers can enjoy the Wagstätt Wurz (No. 60) every Friday evening on the Jochberg ski mountain and on to the Jägerwurzhütte.

The snow groomer drivers are normally working hard to prepare the slopes for the next day However they respect the skiing needs of ski tour lovers, providing an opportunity for risk-free skiing close to the centre.

The snow mantle is at some steep slopes only moderatly solidified, otherwise generally good solidified. Induction is generally only at a big additional burden on very few, extremly steep slopes possible. Bigger spontaneously avalanches are not to expect.
