Do not leave the marked slopes!
Have you ever felt the wonder of skiing on a pristine slope at night? If not, we recommend our ski touring tip: start a safe evening ski tour at Kirchberg!
Discover the best and most beautiful things winter has to offer by taking a ski tour through the wonderful countryside. Ski touring – the trend continues. Breathe in deeply and enjoy our glorious winter landscapes.
Ski tourers have the chance get out onto the Gaisberg slopes three evenings a week from 6.30pm (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays) in the Kitzbühel | Kirchberg ski area, which is perfectly safe as there is no winch grooming. See the table below for the exact times.
Kirchberg’s local mountain is lit up by a floodlight on Thursdays and Fridays for the best visibility. The snow groomer drivers are normally working hard to prepare the slopes for the next day. However they respect the skiing needs of ski tour lovers, providing an opportunity for risk-free skiing close to the centre.
|Day||Safe ski tours between||with floodlights|
|Tuesday||6.30pm – 10pm||no floodlights.|
|Donnerstag||6.30pm – 11pm||until 11pm|
|Freitag||6.30pm – 11pm||until 11pm|
There is a total PISTE CLOSURE from 4.30pm on all other days. Serious risk of death due to winch grooming.
