Anyone looking to experience true freedom on the slopes should put our Big 5 to the test.
The variety of skiing options in our Kitzbühel|Kirchberg ski area will leave you feeling amazed. From beginners to seasoned pros, there’s something for every winter sports fan in Kitzbühel | Kirchberg.
Discover our spectacular Kitzbühel|Kirchberg ski area. Let us present our Big 5.
Big 5 – the Pengelstein: it’s hard to describe exactly how diverse and large our ski area really is, which is why we believe you need to come and “experience” it for yourself. Our flagship slopes include long ski runs with wide pistes for carving lines in the snow and different terrains enabling you to “fly over contours” on the strikingly beautiful Pengelstein.
The Pengelstein truly offers EVERYTHING a skier’s heart could desire. Running along the mountain ridge, the pistes offer fantastic slopes along the fall line and breathtaking panoramic vistas. The view of the Grosser Rettenstein is the crowning glory.
The length of the ski run (piste number 30) is one of our hallmarks. The fact that the wonderful slope runs via the Schroll stopover for skiers (piste number 31) into the valley means that it is often the ultimate way to end a day of skiing.
The convenient, free ski bus enables you to enjoy the après-ski fun without a care in the world and returns you to your base in Kirchberg or Kitzbühel.
Magnificent off-piste skiing on the Hochsaukaser is perfect for anyone with the desire to move even more freely in natural surroundings. Ski off-piste on spectacular freeride routes, feel at one with nature and enjoy the sensation of gliding through the finest powder snow. Our sensational deep snow run will leave you with a taste of freedom.
Don’t forget to treat yourself to a break off-piste from time to time as well. Take a deep breath and relish this unique sense of pure well-being and relaxation. Unfasten your skis and take a moment to marvel at the mountains. You’ll soon feel completely refreshed!
The Alpine landscape with its gentle grass-covered mountains in the heart of the stunning Kitzbühel Alps invites you to carve your very own lines in the snow off-piste away from the secure ski area (always at your own risk).
